The Backstory
As a longtime fan of Gingerade's Brewery and her
Sodapup breed, the day inevitably came when I imagined
my Snowshoe Scotties with Sodapup spots. When my husband suggested the resulting breed could be called the "scotch & soda," I knew
I had to reach out to Gin to see if she'd collaborate.
Gin had coincidentally just finished an NIB project of her own a few months prior. The parallels in our experiences were
so interesting that merging our selective breeds' family histories seemed kinda poetic. She kindly sent me
four 6th-generation sodapups from her Neat line, and a few generations
later, the first Scotch & Sodas were born.
